Rockville is a village in the Antelope County region of Nebraska, in the United States. It is located on the banks of the Elkhorn River and is part of the Loup City micropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the village had a population of 56. Its elevation is 1,258 feet.
Rockville was platted in 1886 when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad was constructed through the area. It was named after nearby Rock Creek, which was named by Dan Botts sometime before 1855, when he homesteaded 640 acres on the creek's bank.
Rockville is home to a post office and a volunteer fire department. The local economy consists largely of agricultural activities. Nearby attractions include the Elkhorn River Valley Trail, which stretches from Fremont to Norfolk, and the Antelope County Historical Society Museum.
