Whitestown is an unincorporated community in southwest Lancaster County, Nebraska, United States. It is located along the Union Pacific Railroad between the towns of Sprague and Burr and is surrounded by agricultural land. It had a post office from 1890 to 1975.
Whitestown was founded in 1890 as a result of the Omaha and Republican Valley Railway. The area was named after the Whitestown family, who were early settlers in the area. After its growth in the early 1900s and before, it has since slowly declined in population, with a population of 23 people at the 2020 census.
