Country Squire Lakes is a city located in Dodge County, Nebraska, United States. As of the 2010 Census, the population of the city was 468. The city was originally known as Oakland Center, but later changed its name to Country Squire Lakes in 1955.
Country Squire Lakes is home to a number of boats and docks thanks to its location on the Elkhorn River. In the early 1900s, two local churches, the Congregational and Methodist, formed the Oakland Center Sunday School. This Sunday School eventually became Country Squire Lakes. The name was derived from the first sedan, which was called the Country Squire. The town's incorporation was finalized in 1955.
