Bremen is a village in Saunders County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 376 at the 2010 census.
The village was founded in 1922 by the Miller brothers, who named it after the city of the same name in Germany. The surrounding area was originally inhabited by the Bannock and Shoshone tribes. The original Miller brothers started a general store, post office and blacksmith shop. A Union Pacific Line later connected Bremen to Omaha. A school and city hall were also built in the early 20th century.
Throughout its history, Bremen has remained a small but vibrant community. It is home to several businesses, including a bakery, bar, cafe, gas station, and auto repair shop. Bremen is also home to a number of churches.
