Hobart is a village in Antelope County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 218 at the 2010 census. It is located on Nebraska State Highway 12, just under one mile east of the county seat of Neligh.
Hobart was platted in 1885 when the railroad was extended to that point. It was named for Albert H. Hobart, a railroad official.
Hobart is served by a public schools system, consisting of Hobart Public School, which includes elementary, middle and high school. In addition, the village also has a public library, which includes a variety of fiction and non-fiction books.
