According to Catholicism, why do we worship Christ?

The fact that Jesus is our creator is the main reason why we worship Him.

"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev 4:11)

"Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Rev 14:7)

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)

The fact that He chose to take on our nature and save us is a demonstration of His infinite love and makes us even more capable of rendering Him worship.
