Prattville is a city located in Autauga, County, Alabama. It was founded in 1839 by industrialist and explorer Daniel Pratt. It is named after Daniel Pratt’s manufacturing company located there. The city also has ties to George Washington, the first President of the United States, who visited at the request of his step-grandson.
