The New Town Hall of Hanover, Pennsylvania is located at 45 Baltimore Street in the borough, replacing an earlier structure built in 1875. The Greek Revival-style building was funded in part by a legacy from philanthropist Frances Slifer following her death in 1904. The construction cost for the building totaled out to $50,000 with the stone for the building coming from Miller’s quarry and was built between 1909 and 1910. The building underwent significant remodels and renovations between 1973 and 1977 in order to repair and restore the building to its original state. At the time of the renovation the estimated cost was around $450,000.

The exterior of the building features clocks and weather vanes on its roof as well as a bell tower. The building is three stories and contains many Romanesque elements with a square-shaped building with a portico and semi-circular windows. The large bronze doors at the front of the building were placed there in the 1973 remodel and replaced the original wooden ones.
