My sister's laptop was gone when she gate-checked her bag. What can she do?

There are a few things you can do:
- Contact the airline. The sooner you contact them, the better. They usually will be happy to help you to get your computer back.
- Contact the police. They probably won’t help, but if it was stolen, they’d be happy to investigate for you.
- If you have insurance, contact them. Even if they can’t get the laptop back, you may have a reimbursement plan.
