Hueytown is a city located in Jefferson County, Alabama. The city was founded in 1910 and was named in honor of W. P. Huey, the founder of the Hueytown Land Company. It is the largest community in the Bessemer Cutoff area of Jefferson County. According to the 2010 census, the population was 16,105.
