Dubbo is an Australian city located in the Central West region of New South Wales. It is situated on the banks of the Macquarie River, about 350 kilometers northwest of Sydney. With a population of over 40,000, Dubbo is the largest inland city in New South Wales and the regional centre for the Orana Region. It is known as the “Gateway to the New West” and is the most populous city in the region.

Dubbo was settled in 1849 and is the third oldest European settlement in the state.
