Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Paz – Mao, also known as “Nuestra Señora de la Paz Church”, is a Catholic church located in Mao, a municipality in Valverde province, Dominican Republic. It was founded in 1944 as a parish in the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo.

The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Peace, the patron saint of the Dominican Republic. The cathedral was built from the contributions of the local parishioners and with the assistance of the then mayor, Father Blas Floro. It was consecrated in 1948 and dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Peace.

The exterior of the church features a two-column portico facade with a large central window, two side gates, and a bell tower. Inside, there is a main nave with a transept and two symmetrical aisles, culminating at the main altar which is topped by a large sculpture of the patron saint, Our Lady of Peace.
