Brantford is the largest city in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It is located on the Grand River and is surrounded by Brant County.

Brantford was originally a Mohawk village, known as Oschegowe’keh (“the place of the junction of the streams”), which was inhabited by the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.
