The Business visa is a B-1, and is easy to get. You can do work inside the U.S., but under the employment of a foreign country. The H-1 (probably H-1B) visa is the one required for a foreign citizen to work in the U.S. for a U.S. company. It requires some filings and paperwork by the company as well as the individual, and there are a limited number of H-1B visas available every year.
